Beyoncé gave Houston, her hometown, a Christmas to remember by performing at the Super Bowl halftime show on December 25, 2024. This time she was live for the first time performing songs from the new album Cowboy Carter. Starting with Christmas songs and many guest appearances.

The show started with a video tape of Beyoncé on a white horse while singing the song 16 Carriages. During the live show, she was dressed in a stunning white leotard and choreographed a group of dancers. She sang her Grammy nominated song Ya Ya.

Beyoncé didn’t perform alone. Levii’s Jeans saw her perform alongside Post Malone and Shaboozey sang Spaghetti on stage with her. Other up-and-coming country singers like Tanner Adell and Brittney Spencer also performed memorable stunts, which only a Beyonce can do.

In her 12-minute performance, she sang new songs as well as the ever popular Jolene and Teax Hold EM. In the last scene, she climbed up to the ceiling physically, and singing the final line, “Merry Christmas, God bless you all.”

This was not the first time Beyoncé was involved in the Super Bowl. She performed once before in 2013 and returned in 2016 with Coldplay and Bruno Mars. However, she did turn up in her 2024 show and this clearly showed she is capable of redefining the stage and making the fans stand in amaze.

Beyoncé’s halftime show was not just a concert, but a present for the audience, with a touch of Houston in it.
